Role Overview
- My client is looking for an ambitious and experienced
- Surveyor / Senior Surveyor to join the
Valuation team , working across a broad portfolio of public and private sector assignments.
This is an excellent opportunity to advise a diverse range of UK and international clients on a wide variety of property assets.
Projects include major mixed-use regeneration schemes, industrial and logistics developments, town centre regeneration initiatives, shopping centres and retail parks, prime and value-add office properties, defence estates, educational facilities, and sports stadiums.
Key Responsibilities
- Valuation & Advisory Services
- Undertake property valuations for investment, development, and financial reporting purposes.
- Produce comprehensive valuation reports in line with the RICS Valuation - Global Standards (Red Book).
- Apply robust market analysis and recognised valuation methodologies across a range of property sectors.
- Provide landlord and tenant advice, including negotiations relating to rent reviews, lease renewals, extensions, and restructuring.
- Support business development activities and participate in client meetings.
- Deliver a combination of valuation and general practice surveying services.
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Contribute to the development of the team by sharing knowledge and supporting junior colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to deliver integrated and comprehensive client solutions.
- Market & Industry Engagement
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends, regulatory changes, and wider economic factors affecting the property sector.
- Represent the business at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate
- MRICS qualification with experience undertaking standard RICS Red Book valuations..
- Experience applying a range of valuation methodologies.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Argus Enterprise/Developer.
