Beach Baker is pleased to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Rating Surveyor into their highly regarded Bristol-based Business Rates team. What you'll be doing

  • Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies
  • Inspecting and valuing a range of commercial properties
  • Managing Check, Challenge, Appeal cases
  • Negotiating with the VOA and local authorities
  • Building client relationships and supporting new business opportunities

What we're looking for

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards)
  • Experience within business rates / rating (private practice or VOA)
  • Strong understanding of rating legislation and appeal processes
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
  • Motivated, commercially aware, and keen to develop
