I'm working with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary General Practice firm based in South Wales to find an experienced Rural Surveyor / Land Agent to join their established Land team. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a practical mindset to work on high-level, commercially focused land matters.

About the Company: With offices in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff and a team of around 25 professionals, this firm covers residential sales, commercial property, valuations & surveys, and land.

The Role: You'll be joining a commercially oriented land practice - no livestock markets or grant paperwork here. Instead, the work focuses on:

  • Farm Business Tenancies - including legislation and compliance
  • Renewable Energy - managing landlord interests in long-term lease agreements
  • Utility Claims & Telecoms - lease renewals, compensation, and enforcement
  • Development Land - assisting on options and planning strategy
  • Valuation Support - working alongside a MRICS-qualified team
  • General Land Issues - rights of way, covenants, and more

The MD remains actively involved and client-facing but is looking to delegate significant responsibility to someone with the right knowledge, professionalism, and independence.
