Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on an opportunity to recruit an experienced General Practice Surveyor to join a well-established and highly regarded independent property consultancy based in Surrey.

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity to take on a broad general practice position covering commercial agency, landlord & tenant matters, valuations and commercial property management. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio including retail, office, industrial and some residential assets, alongside significant responsibility and client interaction. You will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of instructions while also contributing to the continued growth of the agency function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Advising on the sale and letting of commercial property, including negotiating and progressing transactions
  • Carrying out property inspections, measurements and viewings
  • Undertaking and supporting rent reviews and lease renewals
  • Assisting with and undertaking valuations across a range of asset types
  • Supporting property management activities, including tenant liaison and inspections
  • Providing market insight and supporting investment advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Producing clear and professional reports and advice

What They're Looking For

  • Proven experience within commercial property, ideally within a general practice or agency environment
  • Exposure to agency, landlord & tenant, valuations or property management
  • MRICS / AssocRICS desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Commercially minded, proactive and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Package & Details

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
