The Opportunity
We are working with a leading property consultancy to recruit an MRICS-qualified Senior Rural Chartered Surveyor for their Northamptonshire office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, multi-disciplinary team with strong career development prospects.
Role Overview
- Advising landowners on strategies to maximise land value (option and promotion agreements)
- Providing guidance on tenancy matters for landlords and tenants
- Undertaking valuations of rural, residential, and commercial property
- Assisting with property sales and lettings
- Managing compensation claims, grants, subsidies, and joint ventures
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business planning and contributing to financial performance
- Managing your workload to meet agreed targets
Candidate Profile
- MRICS qualified and ideally a Registered Valuer
- Strong understanding of property, land, agriculture, and business matters
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Commercially aware with budget and workload management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and confident in taking initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT proficient
- Full UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle
