Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Rating Surveyor for their expanding Business Rates team in Bristol. What You’ll Be Doing
- Advise clients on business rates mitigation strategies.
- Inspect and value commercial properties for rating purposes.
- Negotiate with the Valuation Office Agency and Billing Authorities.
- Attend client meetings and support business development initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification.
- Experience in business rates valuation (private sector or VOA backgrounds welcome).
- Strong understanding of rating legislation and the Check, Challenge, Appeal process.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Commercially aware, proactive, and a strong team player.
