Beach Baker is working exclusively on a confidential interim appointment with a well‑established and highly respected property consultancy operating across the South West and wider UK.
This interim position is a senior, client‑facing role responsible for the proactive management of a diverse portfolio of commercial investment properties, including office, industrial and retail assets. The assignment combines hands‑on property management with strong client relationship management and commercial acumen.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of commercial investment properties across the South West and wider UK.
- Acting as the main point of contact for key clients.
- Conducting property inspections and overseeing planned and reactive maintenance.
- Preparing and reconciling service charge budgets.
- Ensuring statutory compliance and landlord obligations are met.
- Tenant liaison, including consents, rent collection, and day‑to‑day management queries.
- Overseeing buildings insurance and managing associated claims.
- Supporting management company administration.
- Collaborating with FM, accounting and wider consultancy teams.
- Providing guidance to junior team members where required.
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
About You
- Proven experience in commercial property management.
- Strong technical understanding of service charges, compliance, and landlord/tenant obligations.
- Confident, professional and commercially minded.
- Excellent organisational and client‑handling capabilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- RICS qualified or working towards (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
Day Rate £350-£400/day depending on experience and scope.
