The Role

As a Valuation Surveyor, you will:

  • Provide high-quality valuation services across retail, leisure and other operational sectors
  • Work in full compliance with RICS standards and internal policies
  • Build and nurture relationships with operators, lenders, accountants, solicitors and other key stakeholders
  • Develop your own external network and generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, operator performance and relevant legislation
  • Conduct inspections, surveys and valuations of properties and trading businesses
  • Prepare detailed, accurate and insightful valuation reports
  • Contribute to cross‑selling opportunities across the wider group

Skills & Experience

  • RICS Chartered
  • At least 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience
  • Strong grasp of valuation techniques
  • Excellent written report skills
  • Understanding of accounts and leases
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of retail, roadside or leisure sectors
