Beach Baker is exclusively partnering with a leading national property consultancy to recruit a Development Surveyor for their highly regarded Development & Planning team in Bristol. This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking, strategic advisory business working at the cutting edge of regeneration, placemaking, and mixed-use development. You will play a key role in delivering transformational projects across the South West, South Wales, and beyond - from brownfield regeneration and town centre repurposing to garden settlements and infrastructure-led growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Advising on the disposal and strategy of complex development sites, including brownfield assets.
  • Providing commercial input into masterplans, delivery strategies, and land assembly.
  • Supporting feasibility studies and market research to inform regeneration and repurposing.
  • Producing development appraisals and viability assessments for a range of clients.
  • Assisting in structuring development agreements and public-private partnerships.
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of major regeneration and infrastructure-led schemes.

What We’re Looking For

  • RICS-qualified Surveyor with experience in development consultancy or strategic advisory.
  • Strong commercial insight and technical competence.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented team player who can also work independently.
  • Knowledge of the South West market is a bonus, but not essential.
