About the Role
A fantastic opportunity to take on a senior estates and asset management position, supporting the head of service and playing a key role in the management of a diverse nonâhousing property portfolio. This role combines strategic oversight with handsâon estate management and offers significant autonomy and influence.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the estates management function
- Managing lease events, property transactions and commercial estate matters
- Ensuring statutory compliance across councilâowned assets
- Managing and overseeing external contractors and consultants
- Maintaining and developing the property asset management database
- Preparing reports and business cases for senior management and committees
- Providing property advice to senior stakeholders
- Line managing and developing the estates and asset management team
- Deputising for the head of service when required
- Undertaking property inspections and surveys as necessary
