Beach Baker is pleased to be working with a highly regarded and well-established property consultancy to recruit a Senior Surveyor or Associate into their Commercial Valuation Team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded valuer to join a successful and growing team, working across a diverse range of commercial assets and playing a key role in its continued expansion.
The Role
You will work closely with an experienced team to undertake valuations across the Bristol market, covering sectors including:
- Offices
- Industrial & logistics
- Retail
The client base is varied and high quality, including major lending institutions such as international banks, debt funds, alternative lenders, and clearing banks. You will also support valuations for UK institutions, property companies, and fund clients. This is a broad and engaging role that combines technical valuation work with client exposure and collaboration across wider teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake commercial valuations for loan security, accounts, and other purposes
- Inspect properties and carry out due diligence
- Produce high-quality RICS Red Book-compliant valuation reports
- Utilise Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, and Excel for valuation modelling
- Maintain regular communication with clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with investment and agency colleagues
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, lender requirements, and RICS regulations
- Stay up to date with market trends, legislation, and valuation practices
About You
- MRICS qualified and experienced in Red Book valuations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Proactive, with the ability to use initiative and think strategically
- Strong numerical, analytical, and report-writing capability
- Confident communicator, both internally and with clients
- Highly motivated and commercially aware
- Experience using Argus (Enterprise and/or Developer) alongside Excel
- Able to deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines
