Beach Baker is pleased to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Rating Surveyor into their highly regarded Bristol-based Business Rates team. What you'll be doing
- Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies
- Inspecting and valuing a range of commercial properties
- Managing Check, Challenge, Appeal cases
- Negotiating with the VOA and local authorities
- Building client relationships and supporting new business opportunities
What we're looking for
- MRICS qualified (or working towards)
- Experience within business rates / rating (private practice or VOA)
- Strong understanding of rating legislation and appeal processes
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Motivated, commercially aware, and keen to develop
