Role: Associate Surveyor- Agency (Commercial Property)
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £40,000-£60,000 depending on experience plus benefits package
Operating out of four Midlands offices, my client is passionate about land and property and delivers a comprehensive range of services. These include agency, planning, architecture, building surveying, valuation, and business consultancy ensuring clients unlock the full potential of their assets.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside surveyors, planners, engineers, and architects. About the Role
You will play a key role in growing the Commercial Agency department, working with a varied portfolio of properties, from development sites and investment assets to offices, industrial units, and retail spaces. This position is ideal for an ambitious professional who thrives on building client relationships and spotting new business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- RICS-qualified (minimum 5 years PQE) with strong expertise in Agency
- A degree accredited by RICS.
- Highly organised, IT literate, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to win new instructions and drive business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, occupiers, and investors.
- Property Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote commercial properties across multiple channels.
- Negotiation & Transactions: Lead negotiations for sales, lettings, and acquisitions, ensuring favourable outcomes for clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, rental values, and investment opportunities to provide informed advice.
- Market Appraisals/Valuations & Appraisals: Prepare accurate market appraisals/valuations and reports in line with industry standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry events and build a strong professional network.
