A highly successful Property Consultancy has recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit an additional Building Surveyor within their busy Cardiff office.

Role Features:

  • Office based in the City Centre
  • Fantastic APC training and support
  • Part of a Building Surveying/Project Management team of 35 people (across Cardiff and Bristol offices)
  • Dealing with a full range of instructions on a variety of commercial properties (very little public sector work)
  • Working with \'Grade-A\' clients
  • Social and people-focused organisation

Work Environment and Benefits:

  • Great office location with easy access to city centre amenities. Modern staff gym, break-out working areas, showers, and cycle facilities. The team generally works in the office two days a week, with the rest on-site and WFH.
  • Market leading APC training including quarterly meetings with other graduate and assistant surveyors across the business. Many pass the APC interview on the first attempt.
  • Working within one of the largest Building Surveying and Project Management teams in the region, ensuring full support from a great network of people. The team is well respected in the industry.
  • Working with top clients in the market (mainly pension funds) who continue to invest in property, ensuring a busy pipeline of work for the rest of 2024 and beyond.
  • Diverse projects, avoiding pigeonholing, and managing high-level commercial projects with a positive local impact.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Suitable building surveying or construction degree (or equivalent)
  • At least 12 months of building surveying experience working for a consultancy or client-side
  • Motivated to progress their career and become MRICS
