Salary: Grade 3, £13.26 per hour
2 hours per week - This role operates on an annualised hours contract. The hours will need to be worked flexibly to meet service needs. You may be required to work additional hours.

Your role: We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team within Wigan Leisure Centres. As a Be Well Assistant Gymnastics Coach, you will work as part of the Gymnastics Team, enhance, and deliver the day-to-day Gymnastics Programme, in line with Wigan council policies. As a Be Well Gymnastics Recreation Coach, you will work as part of a team to deliver high quality recreation gymnastics sessions at Robin Park Leisure Centre. The role will involve delivering a wide range of recreational sessions to gymnasts, with skills to develop and help each gymnast, regardless of age and ability to achieve their full potential. We pride ourselves on offering an extensive and diverse range of physical activity to support our residents. The post-holder is expected to be flexible to ensure that the needs of the business are always met, and evening, weekend and bank holiday working will be required as directed by the service.
About you: You will be a highly motivated, professional, and enthusiastic member of our coaching team with the ability to help us achieve our goals. You will deliver high quality gymnastics sessions to increase participation following British Gymnastics Guidelines. This role requires the post holder to have a Level 1 qualification in British Gymnastics or working towards gaining it. You will be required to participate in any training initiatives in relation to the duties of the post and ensure that personal qualifications are kept valid via attendance on training as provided by the service as reasonably practicable.
