We are looking to hire a strategy consulting leader for our Payments Business. The ideal candidate will be a strategy consultant at Manager or Senior Manager grade, with knowledge of the cards and payments industries, most likely gained from a consultancy environment. Candidates with extensive experience working for an international card scheme, in strategy, will also be welcome to apply.

We help leading payments companies navigate market complexity by collaborating to create bestāināclass commercial and business strategies. As a Manager in the Cards & Payments practice, you would be involved in the following activities:
- Strategy consulting in the payments industry
- Advising FinTechs, banks, card schemes, private equity firms and other payments companies on growth, expansion, improving revenue generation and profitability, innovation and pricing and commercial optimisation
- Creating commercial, business, and product strategies
- Leading and managing small consulting teams
- Ensuring delivery excellence and professional development of team members
- Driving client engagement and relationship management
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Commercial accountability
- Managing project budgets and profitability
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Supporting revenue growth through proposal development and client pitches
- Overseeing quality assurance for client deliverables
Requirements
- High levels of mathematical ability and skills in quantitative modelling
- Strong knowledge of the cards and payments industry across market structure, economics, processing infrastructure, regulation, products and services
- Relevant experience in strategy consulting, with the ability to demonstrate contribution to multiple projects with clients operating in the payments industry (cards / instant payments / APMs)
- Proven leadership skills, including team management and mentoring
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, driving profitability, and contributing to business development
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
