Our client, a leading UK Financial Services firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Prudential & Financial Risk Manager to join their Capital and Liquidity team within the Group Finance Function in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in managing prudential and financial risks while ensuring compliance with FCA/PRA regulations. The successful candidate will support the overall risk management framework, actively contributing to cash management and liquidity oversight, capital and liquidity projections, stakeholder engagement, and risk reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree, CFA, ACA, ACCA or ACT preferred)
- Extensive experience in prudential and financial risk management within the financial services industry
- Proven expertise in day-to-day financial risk management
- Strong regulatory compliance experience for capital and liquidity in financial services, preferably in wealth management or investment platform sectors
- Proficiency with financial modeling, finance systems/tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and identify risk mitigations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decisions at all levels
- Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment
