We are supporting a leading financial services firm in Edinburgh on a key hire within their Proposition team, focused on investment governance and oversight across Managed Portfolio Services. This is a strong opportunity for someone with a background in investment operations, platforms, product governance or risk and compliance to step into a broad role with good visibility across the business.
The role will involve working closely with teams across investments, compliance, legal, client service and distribution. You will support oversight of adviser platforms, including due diligence and ongoing governance, ensuring they meet regulatory and contractual requirements. You will also support Consumer Duty obligations through value assessments, reporting and ensuring products are distributed appropriately.
You will be responsible for producing management information, contributing to governance forums and building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers. There is also scope to support wider product governance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are keen to speak with individuals who have experience within wealth management, asset management or wider financial services. Exposure to platforms, Managed Portfolio Services, investment operations or product governance would be beneficial, alongside an understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Consumer Duty.
Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple teams are important for this role. Experience with Excel, reporting tools or qualifications such as IMC or IAQ would be advantageous.
This role offers strong exposure across the business and the opportunity to play a part in a key area of growth, with a genuine chance of extension or moving into a permanent position. If this sounds of interest, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
