My Glasgow based practice client are currently hiring for an experienced, fully qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a company where you are valued and your career aspirations are encouraged.

Main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Preparing financial statements for a range of businesses from sole trader through to company and charity organisation
  • Handling personal tax return
  • Reviewing management accounts and forecast
  • Supporting clients with queries related to accounts and review
  • Assisting company audit
  • Working with HMRC on client accounts and investigation

Ideal skills for the role include:

  • Fully Qualified ICAS/ACCA
  • Experience of accountancy software - Sage or Xero
  • Strong experience of in person, client facing transactions
  • Experience of not for profit clients as well as limited companies
