Our Financial Services client is seeking a senior leader to define and deliver the future state of Finance, bringing together Process, Architecture and Change Management teams across the Finance function. This role will shape how Finance evolves, with a strong focus on AI‑enabled automation, operating model design and enterprise alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Unite Process, Finance Architecture and Change teams under a single transformation agenda across Finance
- Translate existing Finance strategy into clear, sequenced roadmaps, with particular focus on AI‑driven automation and future operating models
- Design the end‑to‑end future state of Finance, assessing impacts across all functional Finance teams
- Lead cross‑functional design activity spanning Treasury, Finance Business Partnering and Finance Operations
- Define and own a clear set of deliverables that articulate future Finance model
- Act as a senior advisor and “face‑off” point to the Finance Executive Committee on a daily basis, with regular updates to the CFO
- Lead a direct team of c.40, while providing strategic leadership across a wider Finance population
- Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Technology and Data teams to ensure alignment with company‑wide platforms and standards
Required Experience & Background
- Ideally a qualified accountant with a strong background in Finance Transformation, Finance Architecture and Operating Model design within a large, complex financial services organisation or consulting firm
- Candidates from a consulting background with experience delivering large‑scale Finance change programmes would be great
- Proven track record operating at ExCo / CFO‑1 level in a highly regulated environment
- Strong understanding of Finance processes across Treasury, FP&A, Business Partnering and Finance Operations
- Demonstrable experience working with Oracle platforms and cloud architectures
- Credible, confident communicator with the gravitas to influence senior Finance and Technology leadership
