We are supporting a leading financial services firm in Edinburgh on a key hire within their Proposition function, focused on oversight of third party investment platforms and supplier governance.
This role sits at the centre of how the business manages its relationships with external platform providers, typically adviser and wealth platforms used for distribution of investment products.
You will be responsible for overseeing due diligence and governance of these platform providers, ensuring they meet regulatory, contractual and service level obligations. This will include both onboarding new platforms and carrying out ongoing oversight and review activity.
Working closely with teams across investments, compliance, legal, client service and distribution, you will ensure that platform partners continue to deliver strong client outcomes and operate in line with regulatory expectations, including Consumer Duty.
The role will also involve monitoring supplier performance against agreed service levels, producing management information, contributing to governance forums and supporting the continuous improvement of oversight frameworks.
We are keen to speak with individuals who have experience within wealth management, asset management or wider financial services, with exposure to investment or adviser platforms. Experience in supplier oversight, due diligence, platform governance or product governance would be highly relevant.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are key to success in this role. Experience working with data and reporting would be beneficial.
This is a high visibility role offering broad exposure across the business, with a genuine opportunity to extend or move into a permanent position.
