Overview

Our client, a leading provider of Cyber Security, Managed Services and Testing solutions is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth within the Public Sector market. This role will be paid a competitive base salary plus a significant bonus based on target achievement and can also be undertaken from anywhere within the UK.

In this strategic role, you’ll focus on winning new business and expanding existing accounts across government departments, local authorities, NHS, and public agencies. You’ll take ownership of a defined portfolio and pipeline, converting new opportunities while deepening relationships with existing clients.

You’ll lead the full sales cycle – from prospecting and bid submission to negotiation and close – working closely with technical and delivery teams to shape compelling solutions. Success in this role means securing new logo wins, growing revenue through cross-selling, farming existing accounts and positioning the company as a trusted partner in digital resilience.

Ideal Profile

  • Proven track record in business development or account management within Cyber Security or technology sectors, ideally selling into the UK Public Sector.
  • Strong understanding of procurement frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, DOS) and public sector buying processes.
  • Skilled in building senior stakeholder relationships and negotiating complex deals.
