Between 9:00am–5:00pm, with an early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays

The Role
As an Office Administrator, you will provide administrative support across the business while taking responsibility for a range of logistics and dispatch activities.
Your duties will include
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for customers, suppliers and visitors.
- Good knowledge of
HS codes and CPC codes , with an understanding of customs procedures and the requirements for international shipments.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails and general enquiries.
- Managing reception, incoming and outgoing post, visitor access and gate entry systems.
- Maintaining office supplies, uniforms, kitchen stock and general office facilities.
- Providing administrative support to managers and different departments.
- Maintaining company records and ensuring documents are correctly filed and archived.
- Coordinating weekly dispatches and returns for commercial and military customers.
- Preparing and checking logistics and dispatch documentation.
- Creating production work orders and allocating serial numbers before production.
- Preparing Certificates of Conformity (Co Cs) for military orders where required.
- Supporting the Procurement Manager with supplier applications and returns.
- Assisting with stock control and maintaining accurate material usage records.
- Communicating with customers, suppliers and transport providers to ensure smooth deliveries and collections.
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Following company procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
- Supporting other departments with general administration when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident working in a busy office environment.
You should have
- Previous experience in office administration.
Previous logistics, dispatch or transport administration experience – essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft
Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point .
- Experience using
SAGE is desirable.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload.
- Good telephone and email communication skills.
- A professional and approachable manner.
- The ability to work independently while also supporting a wider team.
