We are looking for an experienced and motivated Acrylic Fabricator / General Operative to join our production team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to an individual with a strong background in acrylic fabrication, prototyping, and point-of-sale (POS) display production. The successful candidate will play a key role in the manufacture of high-quality products, working both independently and as part of a skilled team in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and prototype acrylic products to a high standard
- Read and follow work instructions and production specifications
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain quality standards throughout the production process
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Required Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in acrylic fabrication and prototyping
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in POS display fabrication and production
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
- Good eyesight and the physical ability to undertake manual work
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written English
- A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work
Technical Requirements
Candidates must be competent in the safe use of:
- Saws and routers
- Manual and powered hand tools
- Measuring equipment
- Diamond and flame polishing equipment
- UV bonding equipment
