Role Overview: As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring that the factory is cleaned thoroughly and safely, meeting all required food hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out deep cleaning of production and processing areas
- Ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and machinery are cleaned to food industry hygiene standards
- Working with cleaning chemicals and tools appropriately and safely
- Following strict health & safety and food safety procedures
- Completing tasks within set timeframes and shift schedules
- Keeping accurate records as required
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience in a hygiene or food production environment is preferred but not essential (training provided)
- Candidates with manual work experience in other industries are welcome
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Physically capable due to the manual nature of the work
- Flexible and able to adapt to shift changes based on business needs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
