Due to continued growth, our Client, one of the largest seafood companies in the world and the largest producer of Atlantic salmon, has multiple opportunities available for Team Leaders to join their Rosyth processing team! As a Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include, although not be limited to:
- Always maintain very high standards in the production area, including but not limited to the following: delivering and never failing on HACCP and CCP; providing the product in accordance with the product specification and completing all startup and product run check paperwork in a timely manner.
- Motivating the team to uphold the Health and Safety requirements, as well as the 5S, production plan and walkaway standards.
- Keeping track of how well the line is doing by completing SIC sheets and keeping operating boards up to date in a timely way.
- Maintaining a forward-looking mindset and being fast to respond to unforeseen situations or changes.
- Maintaining open channels of communication between the team and all the Shift Leaders and Managers as well as vice versa.
- Working together closely with the Leaders of the Shifts.
This role would suit the type of person on whom we and our Client can rely. Someone who, with previous experience within a similar role, represents the Company’s core principles and is eager to pick up new skills.
To be successful, the Team Leader will also need:
- A flexible approach to tasks and working hours as rotas can change at short notice.
- A good record of attendance and time keeping.
- To be a team player and have a passion to drive the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good numeracy and analytical skills as well as an excellent eye for detail.
- Knowledge of 5S, Health and Food Safety.
- Ability to work under pressure.
