Be Personnel is recruiting Hygiene Operatives to join one of the world’s largest seafood companies and leading producers of Atlantic salmon. This is a great opportunity for long-term work with training, stability, and career progression.

The Role

You’ll play a vital role in keeping the factory clean, safe, and fully compliant with food hygiene standards. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep cleaning of production areas, including floors, walls, drains, and surfaces
  • Cleaning and sanitising machinery, equipment, and production lines
  • Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (full training provided)
  • Following strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
  • Working to cleaning schedules and completing tasks within set timeframes
  • Carrying out basic checks to ensure areas are ready for production
  • Accurately completing cleaning records and reporting any issues

About You

  • Previous hygiene or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
  • Backgrounds in warehouse, manufacturing, or manual work welcome
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
  • Flexible and able to work shifts
  • Team player with good attention to detail

Pay & Benefits

  • Dayshift: £13.20 per hour
  • Nightshift: £15.00 per hour (including allowance)
  • Overtime at x1.5
  • 30 days holiday after 12 weeks via agency
  • Weekly free on-site parking

Days 06:00 – 18:30, Nights 18:00 – 06:30
