The main purpose of the Quality Engineers role will be to work directly with the team contributing to the continual improvement of existing products and processes, carrying out root cause analysis, concluding reports and putting forward your recommendations.

Main Duties (not limited to):

  • Support with root cause analysis, implement corrective actions and process problems
  • Using Lean 6 Stigma methodology, for quality improvement and capabilities
  • Logging and investigating any complaints, working with the team to ensure correction actions are being taken to resolve such issues
  • Conduct internal audits including 6S audit and risk assessments
  • Maintain QEHS metrics
  • Maintain clear communication with clients at all times

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality Assurance role
  • Ideally have minimum 5 years within a manufacturing environment
  • Display a strong understanding of ISO 9001 or similar
  • Possess excellent problem solving abilities, organisational & communication skills
  • Have strong engineering abilities to problem solve
  • Be willing to also be hands on within a manufacturing environment
  • Have a strong attention to detail

Qualifications/skills specific:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent training/experience
  • Experience with project management
  • MS Office experience
  • Internal auditor certification
  • Comfortable and experienced in report writing, including clear conclusions
