Be Personnel has immediate opportunities available for Forklift Drivers to work with our client, a leading producer of high-quality fish in Lerwick, Shetland. Reporting to the Factory Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Driving and operating forklift
- Unloading packaging materials from truck, updating stock systems
- Moving materials to warehouse storage
- Ensuring goods inwards documents are completed and filed correctly for every intake
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (unload, pick, label, & store)
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery to production according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label & load)
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
- Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules and regulations set by the company
Skills desired include although are not limited to:
- Good communication both verbal and written
- Being confident in delivering effective communication to daily contacts
- Taking ownership and accountability to achieve the required standards
- Positive demeanour and can-do attitude
- Forklift ticket required
- Meeting deadlines by working with colleagues and teams across the business
As a Forklift Driver you will benefit from:
- A competitive standard starting rate of £15.00 per hour and overtime at £22.50 per hour
- On-going agency contract with seasonal opportunities from the height of summer (July/August) until winter (approx. 6 months work)
- Dayshift: 0700 – 1700 and backshift/nightshift will be from 1700 – 0300 with high amount of overtime expected in the height of the season
- Weekly pay via agency

- Relocation support with travel to and from the island paid (ferry)
