This is a varied and people-focused role where you will act as a key local representative for Be Personnel in Shetland, working closely with our clients, temporary workers and the wider Be Personnel recruitment team.

You will be one of the main points of contact for our clients in Shetland, helping to build strong working relationships, recruit the right people for their roles, understand their ongoing requirements and ensure we continue to deliver a responsive and reliable service.

The role will also involve supporting new workers as they start their assignments, maintaining regular contact with our existing workforce and helping to deal with any day-to-day issues that may arise.

Previous recruitment experience isn't essential. We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, confident dealing with people and capable of representing Be Personnel professionally with both our clients and workforce.

As Recruitment Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a main point of contact for Be Personnel's clients in Shetland
  • Assisting with recruitment for open vacancies
  • Regularly liaising with clients regarding staffing requirements, new starters and existing workers
  • Coordinating new starts and assisting with inductions
  • Maintaining regular contact with our temporary workforce
  • Helping resolve any issues that arise quickly and professionally
  • Visiting client sites and meeting with client contacts and workers
  • Supporting workers with accommodation-related matters where required
  • Communicating staffing requirements and updates to the wider Be Personnel recruitment team
  • Providing feedback on workforce attendance, performance or other issues

About You

  • Confident and professional when dealing with clients
  • Friendly, approachable and comfortable working with a wide range of people
  • A strong communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Organised and able to manage different priorities
  • Proactive and comfortable dealing with issues as they arise
  • Reliable and capable of working independently
  • Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office and other basic computer systems
  • Flexible in their approach to work
  • Based locally in Shetland with good knowledge of the area

Previous experience within recruitment, HR, customer service, account management or a people-focused role would be beneficial but isn't essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Due to the nature of the position, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.

What We Offer

  • Mileage expenses for authorised business travel
  • Full training and ongoing support
  • The opportunity to work independently while being part of an established recruitment team
