The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Our client, a successful polystyrene manufacturer and supplier, is currently looking for a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team, starting 2nd February until the end of June.
The successful candidate:
- Will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations.
- Will have a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to road safety regulations.
- Possess excellent driving skills and a thorough understanding of commercial driving practices.
Working hours: 05:30 – 15:30 for the 5-day weeks and 08:00 – 18:00 for the 4-day weeks with weekend work required occasionally.
Duties:
- Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles, Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
