Our client a local and successful butchery company are seeking a skilled Butcher to join their team in preparing high-quality meats for their customer base. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail. If you have experience in butchery and are committed to upholding food safety standards, we would like to hear from you. Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to): * Prepare and portion meat products * Cut, trim, and bone carcass sections or prime cuts * Ensure all meats are handled and stored correctly to maintain freshness * Operate butchery equipment such as knives, saws, mincers, and slicers * Maintain a clean and organised work area Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Butcher food production setting * Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations * Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads * Certificate or qualification in butchery is desirable The Benefits: * Weekly pay * Salary of £13.60 per hour * 41 hours per week * Working Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:00 and Fridays 06:30 - 14:00 * Due to the location candidates would need own transport We are looking to hear from driven, ambitious and forward-thinking candidates who wish to develop their skills and careers within Scotland’s booming food industry so if this sounds of interest to you, apply today and one of our multilingual team will be in touch!
