Be Personnel is delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a skilled and self-motivated Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering Team. This role supports Freshwater farms and Recirculation Units and offers the opportunity to work autonomously in a dynamic and growing environment.
The successful candidate will carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical work, ensuring all plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all Freshwater sites
- Maximise uptime and performance of all plant and equipment
- Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programmes
- Advise Farm Managers and Area Managers on engineering improvements
- Plan, cost, and deliver site upgrades and engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and actively promote site safety
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised working environments
- Manage spares and inventory to minimise equipment downtime
- Support budget control and provide cost-effective engineering solutions
You will have a strong, multi-skilled engineering background and a proactive approach to continuous development.
Essential Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years’ industrial experience
- Recognised, time-served Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent
- SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or similar qualification
- BS 7671 (18th Edition) certification
- Computer literate, including spreadsheets and general software
- Full UK Driving Licence (or willingness to obtain – support available)
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Periodic Inspection & Testing (Level 3) qualification
- Experience within aquaculture, industrial, or similar environments
