Join our team as a Senior Finance Business Partner at Be One Homes. We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Management Accountancy Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives, financial sustainability and business performance.

Working closely with senior leaders across the housing association, you'll provide expert financial insight, challenge and support to enable informed decision-making and deliver value for money. As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll build strong relationships across the organisation, lead a high-performing team and help ensure robust financial planning, forecasting and reporting. Your work will help support the delivery of high-quality housing services, investment in our homes and communities, and positive outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic financial support, insight and challenge.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance business partnering team.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans across the organisation.
  • Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support business performance and decision-making.
  • Produce and present high-quality management information and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support year-end processes, audits, statutory accounts and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement, value for money and strong financial governance across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified accountant with a recognised CCAB or CIMA qualification.
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role, including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial governance and compliance.
  • Experience translating financial information into clear, actionable insight for stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing colleagues to achieve high performance.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous line management experience.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • Housing sector knowledge.
