Join our team as an Electrician. We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join our Gas & Electrics team. You will play a vital role in delivering a responsive repairs and maintenance service, helping to ensure our customers live in safe, compliant and well-maintained homes.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installation, repair and maintenance works in our homes.
- Diagnose faults and repair domestic electrical installations and appliances.
- Undertake complete rewires, meter works and appliance installations.
- Complete inspection, testing and detailed Electrical Installation Condition Reports.
- Use digital scheduling systems (e.g. PDA/mobile devices) to receive and complete work, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Work collaboratively with other trades, colleagues, contractors and external partners.
- Communicate clearly with customers about required works, timescales and completed repairs, in line with our Repairs Policy.
- Act as a professional representative of Be One Homes when working in properties and on estates.
- Identify, report and share learning from Health & Safety issues.
- Promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all decisions and interactions, using inclusive language and celebrating differences.
- City & Guilds 2368 Electrical Installations Part 2 (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition (or willingness to work towards).
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or willingness to work towards).
- Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical repairs, maintenance and installations.
- Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to work at height and lift loads up to 25kg.
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage positively with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to manage your workload, prioritise tasks and work efficiently.
- Confidence using IT and digital tools, including mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
- A full, valid driving licence and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience in social housing or property maintenance (desirable).
- Competitive salary Grade 5: £38,242 - £42,536
