Youll play a vital role in delivering a responsive repairs and maintenance service, helping to ensure our customers live in safe, compliant and well-maintained homes. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation, repair and maintenance works in our homes. Diagnose faults and repair domestic electrical installations and appliances. Undertake complete rewires, meter works and appliance installations. Complete inspection, testing and detailed Electrical Installation Condition Reports. Use digital scheduling systems (e.g. PDA/mobile devices) to receive and complete work, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Work collaboratively with other trades, colleagues, contractors and external partners. Communicate clearly with customers about required works, timescales and completed repairs, in line with our Repairs Policy. Act as a professional representative of Be One Homes when working in properties and on estates. Identify, report and share learning from Health & Safety issues. 18th Edition (or willingness to work towards). City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or willingness to work towards). Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical repairs, maintenance and installations. Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and Health & Safety requirements. Ability to work at height and lift loads up to 25kg. Good communication skills with the ability to engage positively with residents and colleagues. Ability to manage your workload, prioritise tasks and work efficiently. Confidence using IT and digital tools, including mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications. A full, valid driving licence and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Experience in social housing or property maintenance (desirable). What we offer Competitive salary
