Join our team as a Building Surveyor Were looking for an experienced and customer-focused Building Surveyor to join our Housing Property Services team.

You'll play a key role in maintaining, improving and developing our housing assets, helping to ensure our customers live in safe, high-quality homes.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a variety of repair, maintenance and improvement projects, providing professional, technical and advisory support across our housing portfolio while making a real difference to the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities Manage projects from inception through to completion, including the operational delivery of construction works, contracts and projects.

Carry out pre, during and post-inspection surveys to identify building defects and areas of disrepair, ensuring effective resolutions are implemented.

Produce schedules of work, specifications, cost estimates and contract documentation.

Prepare CAD-generated drawings and associated project documentation.

Procure and manage contractors and consultants, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Monitor and control project budgets, valuations and contract performance.

Provide expert technical advice to managers and stakeholders on repairs, maintenance, development and alteration works.

Prepare and review Safety Plans in line with CDM Regulations and undertake risk assessments.

Work collaboratively with customers, colleagues, contractors and external agencies to deliver successful projects and excellent customer outcomes.
