Join our team as an Anti Social Behaviour Officer

We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people, promoting fairness, and maintaining safe, thriving communities within a housing association environment. This role is known internally as a Neighbourhood Safety Officer. You'll take ownership of a designated neighbourhood patch, working closely with residents to address anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, and other community safety concerns.

Using a balanced and proactive approach, you will investigate cases, support victims, challenge unacceptable behaviour, and work closely with colleagues, local authorities, and partner agencies to resolve issues before they escalate. Through effective case management and early intervention, you'll help create safer communities and ensure customers feel secure and supported in their homes.

Based on the role profile, the position focuses on managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases for a housing provider, while supporting customers and maintaining sustainable tenancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage anti-social behaviour and tenancy breach cases from start to finish, keeping accurate records and clear action plans
  • Listen to customers, take clear statements, and provide regular updates and appropriate support
  • Work with partner agencies and support services to agree solutions that meet individual needs
  • Identify vulnerable customers and make referrals to relevant support services when required
  • Gather information and evidence to support enforcement or legal action where necessary
  • Use inclusive language xgikmsk and ensure equality, diversity and inclusion are considered in every decision
  • Report health and safety concerns and share learning to reduce risk

What youll need to succeed

  • A good understanding of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breach issues, and how they affect people
  • Experience working with customers or communities in sensitive or challenging situations
  • Strong organisation and case management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
