Requirements for Nursery Room Leader:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Room Leader.
- A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of childcare and customer service.

- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.
Main responsibilities:
- Working effectively in partnership with other team members, parents and outside professionals.
- Partaking in the nursery’s daily routine and ensuring the highest level of childcare is being delivered.
- Organise the daily running of the room, including staff breaks, outings, reviewing observations, completing the rota etc.
- Supporting and motivating your team with team effectiveness strategies.
- Ensuring that the children in the nursery are safe at all times and being vigilant for signs of abuse or neglect.
- Completing regular training to progress personal and professional development.
