About the Role
The Junior Area Manager contributes to the commercial development and operational performance of Be Keen’s portfolio within the assigned markets. This role combines responsibility over selected small or emerging accounts with hands-on coordination across retail operations, ensuring consistent execution and sell-out growth. Working closely with the Area Manager, the Junior AM supports market development, strengthens partner relationships, and ensures that HQ strategies are effectively implemented in-store while maintaining brand integrity and performance across markets.
What you'll do
- Account & Commercial Management
- Manage the day-to-day commercial and operational follow-up of selected small or emerging accounts, ensuring consistent visibility, order flow, and performance tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners on operational matters, ensuring alignment on launches, assortments, and activation plans.
- Monitor sell-out results and recommend market-level actions to support targets.
- Support the development of listings and order flow in collaboration with the Area Manager and HQ.
- Retail Operations
- Ensure product availability, correct assortment, and compliance with brand guidelines across POS.
- Follow up on launches, deliveries, merchandising, and visibility materials.
- Conduct store visits and collect qualitative feedback to enhance sell-out.
- Lead and coordinate training sessions for Beauty Advisors and store teams, ensuring consistent product knowledge, brand storytelling, and retail execution across assigned markets.
- Marketing & Activation Support
- Support the rollout of marketing and animation plans defined by HQ.
- Ensure timely and consistent implementation of visibility campaigns in-store.
- Gather feedback and report execution results to the Area Manager.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Consolidate sell-out data and KPI results for assigned markets.
- Prepare regular performance updates and identify improvement areas.
- Maintain trackers for orders, launches, and activations.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise with HQ teams (Marketing, Training, Logistics) on operational needs.
- Ensure smooth coordination between field teams, distributors, and internal departments.
- Share best practices and market insights with the Area Manager.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in commercial or operational roles within the fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail industry (Travel Retail and/or Domestic).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing multi-market environments is a plus.
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; CRM and BI tools are a plus.
