Are you an experienced Software Team Lead looking to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of financial data management? Be-IT are delighted to be working with their long standing fintech client on this exciting opportunity within their product engineering team.

  • Glasgow or Edinburgh – Hybrid (2 days per week)
  • Salary – Up to Β£65,000 + bonus
  • Unable to provide Sponsorship.

We\’re looking for a Software Team Lead to join our client’s dynamic product engineering team and lead the development of innovative, high-impact solutions.

The day to day:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a cross-functional feature delivery team.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of secure, performant, and scalable software.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals.
  • Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
  • Represent the team in planning sessions, stakeholder meetings, and company-wide updates.

Skills & Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in a Senior Software Engineering or technical leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in C#, JavaScript, T-SQL, and the .NET/Windows stack.
  • Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, Git, SQL Server Management Studio, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, deliver complex projects, and mentor team members.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
