Are you a Lead Security Engineer looking to join an organisation with plenty of project work to sink your teeth into? Would you like to be responsible for the security engineering of the team’s cloud platform and applications?
You’ll have the opportunity to join one of Scotland’s largest employers who are innovating the way we work towards Net Zero.
You’ll work on a range of complex applications and cloud estates taking the lead on technical delivery of large projects. You’ll also:
- Mitigate against constant threats, assessing security posture and ways to improve.
- Implement security testing, both functional and automated.
- Check for vulnerabilities in the code and ensuring it’s secure.
- Educate the team, identifying training or areas where best practices aren’t exercised.
- Remediate vulnerabilities that have been uncovered.
You’ll have experience in:
- Software Development
- DevSecOps
- Source control tools (Git), security testing tools (e.g. Snyk or static analysis) and writing security tests.
