We are seeking a Salesforce Developer on a contract basis for a specific project. The role focuses on building a Salesforce-based frontend, processing and cleansing large datasets, integrating with external systems via APIs, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements. The project involves building Visualforce interfaces in Salesforce to manage address data, data cleansing and deduplication, API integrations, and reporting through Salesforce and PowerBI. Thorough testing, stakeholder collaboration, and clear technical documentation are also required.
Responsibilities
- Build Salesforce frontend components (Visualforce) to manage address data and user interactions.
- Implement data cleansing, deduplication, and data quality controls.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and manage data flows between on- and off-Salesforce systems.
- Support reporting needs using Salesforce reports/dashboards and PowerBI.
- Conduct thorough testing and coordinate with stakeholders to validate requirements and deliverables.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and follow best practices for maintainability and scalability.
Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce development using Apex and Visualforce.
- Node.js for backend development and data processing.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases: SQLite, MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with stream processing and handling large datasets.
- Familiarity with Vue.js.
- Experience with data integration and management both on- and off-Salesforce.
