A global engineering business is part-way through a once-in-a-generation SAP S/4HANA transformation. The programme is putting in place the core platforms that will run the business for the next decade. They’re now looking for a Senior Functional Lead to shape how products are designed, engineered and managed across the new landscape.

You’ll be the senior functional lead for Innovation and Product Lifecycle Management. You’ll partner with and deputise for the Product Domain Lead, and own the Concept to Launch value stream end to end.

You’ll lead the design of PLM capability across Siemens Teamcenter and SAP S/4HANA Engineering, BOM and Material Master, getting engineering data flowing cleanly from design into manufacturing. Working alongside the other domain leads and Enterprise Architecture, you’ll:

  • Set the domain roadmap, standards and governance
  • Guide solution architects
  • Shape data and integration patterns
  • Hold the line on Fit-to-Standard and Clean Core principles

This is a strategic leadership role, not a hands-on build role, with real scope to step up into full domain leadership.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience as a functional lead or domain architect on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • Deep PLM process knowledge across product lifecycle, portfolio management and EBOM/MBOM
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter and SAP S/4HANA PLM and engineering modules, ideally with exposure to CAD (NX, Autodesk) and PLM integrations
  • Familiarity with BPM tools such as Celonis or Signavio, and Agile delivery using Jira and the Atlassian suite
  • The confidence to lead through ambiguity, influence across domains, and constructively challenge senior stakeholders

What’s on offer:

You’ll get a competitive reward and benefits package, a broad health and wellbeing framework, and an inclusive culture that gives people the freedom to shape their own career path. You’ll also join a programme with global visibility, at a point where your decisions will define how the business works for years.

How to prepare for a job interview at Be-IT

✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned.
