My Glasgow based practice client are currently hiring for an experienced, fully qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a company where you are valued and your career aspirations are encouraged.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing financial statements for a range of businesses from sole trader through to company and charity organisations
- Handling personal tax returns
- Reviewing management accounts and forecasts
- Supporting clients with queries related to accounts and reviews
- Assisting company audits
- Working with HMRC on client accounts and investigations
Ideal skills for the role include:
- Fully Qualified ICAS/ACCA
- Practice experience
- Experience of accountancy software - Sage or Xero
- Strong experience of in person, client facing transactions
- Experience of not for profit clients as well as limited company
