About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company operating in the B2B sales and marketing technology space. The business is profitable, healthy and growing - expanding its product suite while continuing to invest heavily in the technology and people behind it. It's a genuine "One Team" culture, with a strong focus on growth, ownership and giving back to the wider community.

The Role

We’re looking for a Lead-level Full Stack Software Developer to join a small, senior team building the company’s customer-facing products. You’ll be technically leading work from initial design through to full implementation - iterating quickly on a modern tech stack (Node.js microservices, Vue, Redis, SQL Server and Snowflake) and deploying to production in AWS every day, following a DevSecOps approach. This is a hands-on lead role: part high-performing individual contributor, part lead developer and embedded architect. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and customers directly, shaping solutions from the ground up rather than simply executing a backlog. AI is central to how this team works. You’ll be expected to use AI heavily to accelerate delivery and stay ahead as the tooling evolves - the team is intentionally kept small, with AI acting as a genuine force-multiplier rather than a replacement for headcount.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with stakeholders on initial solution design, scoping and system design
  • Spiking areas of uncertainty and building proofs of concept where needed
  • Working with initiative managers to break work down into deliverable epics and stories
  • Turning user stories into production code — as an individual contributor and as lead developer/embedded architect within a small squad
  • Owning the quality, maintainability and operability of what you and the team build
  • Supporting live products in production and resolving issues as they arise
  • Contributing to architecture and implementation decisions across the product

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years' full stack development experience, ideally on large-scale SaaS platforms
  • 5+ years' JavaScript and TypeScript experience — essential for this role
  • Strong system design and domain modelling experience, with a commercial mindset
  • Experience with clean code, SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Comfort working in a mature CI/CD environment, deploying to production daily
  • A forward-thinking approach to using AI to accelerate high-quality software delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including working directly with customers
  • Experience with automated testing, quality assurance and building systems that perform at scale
  • Enthusiasm for security best practice and driving high engineering standards
  • A technical/computer science degree or equivalent professional experience

What’s On Offer

  • £100,000 salary
  • Employment with a fast-growing UK SaaS company
  • Competitive benefits package
  • A genuine "One Team" culture built around growth and high standards
  • Volunteer days, fundraising and community involvement
