My Edinburgh based client are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join a growing team to assist with key business processes.
The relevant candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out financial transactions including invoicing and accounts receivable
- Managing client invoices and resolving debt issues
- Setting up client accounts online
- Managing client VAT returns
- Delivering a high level of engagement with clients
- Working with regulators to manage client accounts
- Managing client documentation
Relevant experience for this role should include:
- Experience of working in a practice environment - Ideally 3 years
- Experience of financial software
- Strong client facing experience
- Knowledge of VAT regulations
- Experience of on-boarding and managing client accounts
