My Fife based client are currently hiring for an experienced Tax Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, supportive practice with strong experience of developing individuals within their career.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing tax computations for a number of private and corporate clients
- Assisting with administrative tasks including filing of tax returns
- Working with HRMC to resolve queries on tax returns and client data
- Supporting with business development for new client wins
- Managing client data a small portfolio of client returns
- Attending face to face and online meetings with clients
Ideal experience for this role includes:
- Substantial experience working within a tax team in a client facing role
- Experience of preparing and processing tax returns
- Strong knowledge of accounting software
- Strong UK tax experience within corporate and personal tax
- An ATT qualification would be advantageous
- Ability to travel to and work in Fife on a daily basis
