This well established and market leading manufacturer of capital equipment and consumable products is recruiting for an ambitious and driven Fabricator Welder to join their Warrington based facility. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a small, busy fabrication team whose clients are mainly located within Europe and be a competent, productive fabricator in Stainless Steel. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to build a career within a stable, well-established, thriving business with a solid plan for ongoing growth. In return, you will receive for a 39 hour Mon-Fri week, a competitive salary of up to £16.80ph + benefits package + ongoing career development.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a stable and ambitiously growing company.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret and break down all levels of drawings.
  • Monitor quality of own work, ensuring it always meets the expectations of both the company and the customer.
  • Assess and plan work according to timeframes.
  • Look for ways to make efficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Follow the Company Management System.
  • Good Housekeeping - Maintain a clean and tidy work area, adhering to company policies.
  • Carry out duties outside your job description when required.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety legal requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Relevant trade certificate with significant experience within stainless steel fabrication.
  • Good standard of TIG welding experience in stainless steel essential, including sanitary welds.
  • Sheet Metal Fabrication, specifically thin plate essential.
  • Ability to use a range of machinery including guillotine, Bandsaw and Section Rollers.
  • Work productively to required timeframes and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Display innovative thinking and sharing of ideas for continuous improvement.

Desirable:

  • Pipefitting & fabrication of tubular products.
  • Experience of working on Stainless Steel Pressure Vessels.
  • Previous Welding Coding.
  • Some experience of working with Mesh/Perforated Stainless Steel.
