DROP FORGE STAMPER This global leader in the supply of piping components into the oil and gas, petrochem, power and water industries is looking for a Drop Forge Stamper to join their successful team at their Dudley facility. Reporting into the Production Manager the role offers a competitive rate of £32-36K dependent on experience plus benefits and offers a supportive and friendly team environment. The Drop Forge Stamper will require a proactive attitude with experience of working in a drop forge environment ideally operating Massey forging equipment (Massey Clearspace being highly advantageous). THE COMPANY The Drop Forge Stamper provides the fantastic opportunity to work within an established team for a thriving and growing group who.. - Are one of the global leaders in its market - Have over 40 years’ experience supplying into the oil & gas and Petrochem markets - Has over 15 facilities worldwide THE OPPORTUNITY The Drop Forge Stamper will be responsible for providing support through operating Massey forging equipment to produce high quality forgings while also conducting process inspection checking for accuracy and defects. There will also be some basic maintenance of the forging machinery. THE PERSON The successful candidates will be a well organised, self-driven individual with a good work ethic and a desire to work in a busy working environment. A flair for attention to detail is required with the drive to exceed team-wide targets. You will also: * Have previous experience in drop forging * Have a strong understanding of forging processes * Have a positive attitude with the ability to problem solve * Be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic * Good physical stamina and an ability to work in a demanding physical environment * Adhere to Health & safety procedures at all times * Have experience of Massey Clearspace forging (desirable but not essential) This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, stable business and take ownership of this busy, varied role.
